Why are some countries democratic and others dictatorships? Who has power in Britain? Why are the British public sick and tired of their politicians? Do our Prime Ministers have too much power? This is an academic course which provides students with the analytical, communication and research skills to move on to university. By the end of the course you will have a much better understanding of the society we live in and how we ended up here. Studying Government and Politics will give you the confidence to criticise the ruling elite and even start your own political party.
