    Cheerleaders Trip

    Twenty-one year 8 and 9 girls took part in a BCA (British Cheerleading Association) camp at PGL Windmill Hill over the weekend. The girls attended cheerleading sessions focusing on all aspects of cheerleading, where they learnt new skills and complex routines. They were also offered a zip wire and trapeze session run by the PGL centre. Read More

  • Harris Experience Christie's Auction House Visit

    Harris Experience Christie's Auction House Visit
    3rd March 2015

    A group of year 9 students have visited Christie's Auction House in South Kensington as part of the Harris Experience programme. The students were given a tour of the building by the Chair and Executive and were very inquisitive about the buying and selling process. For our next visit in June, we will be creating our own piece of art work and selling it in a live auction - exciting times! Read More

  • Paralympic Star!

    Paralympic Star!

    This morning we were lucky enough to be visited by Tim Prendergast, a blind Paralympic gold medallist. He completed a workshop with 20 of our key stage 3 students as part of the Sky Sports for Living Programme. The students thoroughly enjoyed hearing Tim's story, holding the gold medal and working practically to develop their teamwork, leadership and athleticism. This was the first of two workshops, so we will be welcoming Tim back in the near future. Read More

  • Duke of Edinburgh Success

    Duke of Edinburgh Success

    Congratulations to seven of our students that successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award and were privileged to attend the Bexley Duke Of Edinburgh Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Mayor of Bexley. This was a particular achievement as they all completed the full award a year early and also completed the harder Silver routes. Two of our past pupils also received their award, and a further two students completed their awards this week too. Read More
