    Harris Experience at Christies

    Ten Year 9 students have visited the Christies Education Centre as part of the Harris Experience programme. On arrival, the students took part in a lecture and mini discussions around pieces of historic art, providing a base for their future trip to Christies Auction House. Our students led by example and offered their opinion to all of their Harris counterparts. By the end, the lecturer resorted to refusing our students answers and dragging thoughts out of other students; we seemed to be the only Academy contributing! Read More

    Congratulations to the Falconwood Year 10 netball team, who have won the Borough Federation Netball Competition, and will now go through to face the winners of the other Boroughs in a finals early next year.     Harris Experience Debating

    Congratulations to our Year 10 Harris Experience students on their extremely successful debating session. Working in small groups, the students debated a number of current topics within the media. They were given time to discuss, plan and rehearse their points and then they took to the stage to put forward their argument against other groups. Our students wasted no time and took key leading roles within the debates; articulating their points in great detail. Read More
