Salary £19,563  FTE

The Harris Academy Falconwood opened in September 2008. The Academy’s specialisms are Enterprise and Science with a ‘can-do’ ethos drawn from the world of sport of always improving upon your personal best. A new purpose built Academy to the value of £25 million will follow in 2011 through Partnership for Schools.

We require a Cover Supervisor for 40 weeks per year, 8.00am – 4.00pm.   The successful candidate will be required to have presence and authority in the classroom and be able to provide cover for absent teachers while students work independently. Candidates would not be required to teach or to have a teaching qualification. IT skills would be an advantage.

Hours of work: 8.00am – 4.00pm. Term time only.

About you: You will have the ability, drive and enthusiasm to make a difference to students and young people from Bexley, Greenwich and the surrounding area, and to help build on the Academy’s outstanding GCSE results. The successful candidate can expect to work in an atmosphere of mutual support and co-operation.
