The Harris Academy Falconwood opened in September 2008. The Academy’s specialisms are Enterprise and Sport with a ‘can-do’ ethos of always improving upon your personal best. Our accommodation from September 2011 is a new purpose built Academy to the value of £25 million.
We are looking for a dynamic NQT or experienced Teacher of Psychology. The ability to teach another subject would be an advantage. A responsibility allowance may be available for a suitable candidate with relevant experience. We want to appoint staff who will make a difference to the Harris Academy Falconwood during this exciting and challenging time. The successful candidate will be required to teach at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. There will be ample opportunity to develop your teaching styles and learn management skills within our highly supportive Induction or NQT Programmes. NQTs will be fully supported by, and play an active part in, the Harris Federation.
About you: You will have the ability, drive and enthusiasm to make a difference to students and young people from Bexley, Greenwich and the surrounding area, and to help build on the Academy’s outstanding first three sets of GCSE results. The successful candidate can expect to work in an atmosphere of mutual support and co-operation.
