Miss Meaghan McNeill

Miss McNeill graduated from Mount Allison University with a Batchelor of Science majoring in Biology with a minor in English and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree from St. Francis Xavier University before moving from Canada in 2012. While teaching, she went on to accredit as a Systems Leader in Educational through the Chafford Hundred Teaching School Hub. These formative experiences reinforced her belief in the transformative power of education and her commitment to ensuring every young person achieves their full potential.

Throughout her career as a science teacher at the academy, Miss McNeill has held many roles, including Primary Liaison Coordinator, Pastoral leader of Sixth Form, Deputy Head of Science and Head of Science. Currently, Miss McNeill is an Assistant Principal at Harris Academy Falconwood, where she plays a key role in driving high-quality new teacher development the academy. She is the Managing Mentor guiding new teachers in their career. She is passionate about developing teachers at every stage of their career and leads through a calm, coaching approach that balances challenge with support.  She believes that great schools are built on strong relationships, professional trust, and a relentless focus on impact.

Miss McNeill’s leadership is underpinned by a clear moral purpose: securing the very best outcomes for every student. She is committed to nurturing well-rounded young people who leave Harris Academy Falconwood equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and character to succeed. Through her work, she strives to foster a strong sense of belonging, positive energy, and a shared commitment to continual improvement, ensuring that both students and staff feel valued, supported, and capable of excellence.
