Celebration Assemblies
This year, we were delighted to launch our new Celebration Assemblies, designed to recognise and reward the many achievements, successes and personal qualities demonstrated by our students throughout the year.
These special events provided staff with the opportunity to nominate students who have made an exceptional contribution to school life. While many students were recognised for their academic achievements and subject successes, we were equally proud to celebrate those who displayed important character strengths such as kindness, resilience, determination, perseverance and outstanding progress. The assemblies have helped us shine a spotlight on the many different ways students can achieve success and make a positive impact within our school community.
Celebration Awards Assemblies April 2026
One of the highlights of the year was being able to invite families into school to celebrate alongside their children. It was wonderful to see parents and carers sharing these proud moments, applauding achievements and recognising the hard work and dedication shown by our students. The atmosphere at each assembly was fantastic and provided a fitting celebration of all that our young people have accomplished.
Attendance was also recognised and rewarded. Students who achieved 100% attendance each term were entered into a prize draw, with winners receiving Amazon vouchers in recognition of their commitment to attending school every day. The initiative proved hugely popular and encouraged students to strive for excellent attendance throughout the year.
Following the success of this year's assemblies, we are excited to expand the programme even further next year. More students will be recognised for their strong attendance, with additional vouchers, rewards and attendance trips available to celebrate those who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their learning.
