Art & Design Technology Exhibition 2026 - Celebrating Creativity and Excellence
On Tuesday 14th July, we were delighted to showcase the incredible talents of our students at our annual Art and Design Technology Exhibition. Families, staff and members of the academy community were invited to visit the Agora, which had been transformed into a stunning gallery space displaying an impressive collection of GCSE and A Level work.
The exhibition provided a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the creativity, skill and dedication of our students, whose work demonstrated both exceptional technical ability and remarkable imagination. Visitors were able to explore a diverse range of projects, from fine art and photography to design and technology creations, each reflecting the hard work and commitment invested throughout their courses.
The quality of the work on display was truly outstanding. One particularly striking piece has recently been selected to feature in a prestigious exhibition on Oxford Street this summer, a remarkable achievement and testament to the talent of our students.
The exhibition attracted a wealth of positive feedback from visitors, with one family member commenting:
"I couldn't believe this had been produced by students. The standard of work is so professional that it wouldn't look out of place in a commercial gallery."
Hearing such praise was a fitting recognition of the effort, resilience and artistic vision demonstrated by our young people throughout the year.
The event was not only a celebration of the finished pieces but also an opportunity to recognise the journey behind them—the countless hours spent refining ideas, developing techniques and overcoming challenges to produce work of such a high standard.
A huge thank you must go to our Art and Design Technology teams for their unwavering dedication, inspiration and support. Their passion and expertise have helped create an environment in which students can thrive creatively and produce work of which they can be immensely proud.
Congratulations to all of our GCSE and A Level students whose work featured in the exhibition. The talent on display was exceptional, and we look forward to seeing many of them continue to pursue their creative ambitions in the years ahead.
