Year 9 Graduation - Celebrating a Significant Milestone

Year 9 Graduation - Celebrating a Significant Milestone

This year, we were delighted to host our inaugural Year 9 Graduation, a special event designed to celebrate an important milestone in our students’ educational journey.

The graduation marked the end of three years of hard work, progress and personal growth as our Year 9 students completed Key Stage 3 and prepared to begin the next exciting chapter of their education. It provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on everything they have achieved so far and to recognise the commitment, resilience and determination they have shown since joining the academy.

The event was filled with memorable moments, including awards, speeches, music and plenty of pizza, creating a fantastic atmosphere of celebration and pride. Students enjoyed the opportunity to come together with their friends and teachers to recognise their achievements and look ahead to the challenges and opportunities that GCSE study will bring.

One student summed up the occasion perfectly:

"It was such a brilliant event. I loved celebrating with all my mates and looking back on everything we've achieved together. It also made me realise how grateful I am to all the staff who have supported us over the last three years. It was a really special way to mark the end of Year 9 and get excited about what's next."

The graduation was a fitting tribute to a fantastic year group and highlighted the strong sense of community that exists across the academy. Seeing so many smiling faces and hearing students talk positively about their experiences made the event a huge success.

We are incredibly proud of everything our Year 9 students have achieved so far and look forward with excitement to the next stage of their journey. As they begin their GCSE courses, we have no doubt that they will continue to thrive, embrace new challenges and achieve great things. We can't wait to see the wonderful successes and accomplishments this cohort will achieve over the next two years.
