Harris Academy Falconwood Celebrates Strong Sixth Form Results in 2026

Students and staff at Harris Academy Falconwood are celebrating another year of strong Sixth Form results, with outcomes demonstrating significant improvement in overall performance and reflecting the hard work, ambition and resilience of students across the academy.

An exceptional 28% of all grades awarded across A Levels and vocational qualifications were achieved at the highest levels, with students securing A/A* grades or Distinction*/Distinction awards. These results highlight the academy's continued commitment to academic excellence and ensuring every student is able to fulfil their potential.

Particularly impressive performances were seen across a range of subjects, demonstrating both high achievement and strength in depth across the curriculum. In Mathematics, 30% of grades awarded were A* or A, while Further Mathematics saw 20% of students achieve A* or A grades. Art continued to excel, with 29% of grades at A* or A, and Psychology students secured 20% of grades at the highest levels. Huge congratulations to the staff and students involved.

Vocational qualifications once again delivered exceptional outcomes. Across vocational courses, the average grade achieved was a Distinction, while students studying Sport achieved especially impressive results, with 78% of all grades awarded at Distinction or above.

These achievements have enabled Falconwood students to secure ambitious post-18 destinations and take exciting next steps in education, training and employment. Whether progressing to leading universities, specialist institutions or other aspirational pathways, students leave the academy exceptionally well prepared to thrive in the world beyond Harris Academy Falconwood.

Mr Pearce, Head of Academy said:

"We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our Sixth Form students and the excellent results they have secured this year. These outcomes reflect not only their dedication and hard work, but also the support of their families and the commitment of our staff.

What makes us most proud is not simply the grades achieved, but the remarkable young men and women our students have become during their time with us. Their accomplishments will act as an inspiration to all embarking on their final year of study in 2027. They leave Harris Academy Falconwood with the knowledge, character and confidence to succeed in their chosen pathways, and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the years ahead."

Everyone at Harris Academy Falconwood congratulates the Class of 2026 and wishes them every success for the future.
