Important Dates for the application process
Applications for September 2025 intake are now closed. Offer holders will enrol with as follows to secure their place.
Enrolment for September 2025
Thursday 21st Aug 2025 Morning 9:00am-11:30am: GCSE results day. Current HAF students will collect their results and those who have met the conditions of their offer will enrol with a member of staff in the morning.
Thursday 21st Aug 2025 Afternoon 12:00-14:30pm: New joining students who have met the conditions of their offer will bring their GCSE results and ID and enrol in the afternoon.
Note conditional offers are only valid on Thursday 21st August, we will not hold a space open for you if you do not enrol on this date.
Friday 22nd Aug 2025 9:00am-11:30am: Students who have not met the conditions of their offer can attend in the morning of Friday 22nd August, their results will be reviewed to see if they can be enrolled on other courses, where they meet the entry requirements. Students who have not been made an offer but meet our minimum entry requirements can also attend in the morning. Remaining places will be offered on a first come first served bases.
Applications for September 2026
There are two different routes to apply; one for current HAF students and one for new students joining us from other schools.
Current HAF student applications
- October 2025 - November 2025: Application in person
HAF students will meet with senior staff to discuss applying for Sixth Form. If they want to apply students will complete the application form in school, with their initial subject choices. Do not complete the online application form.
- November 2025 - December 2025: Conditional offers
Conditional offers will be made via email, students must accept to continue the process. Students must check their school email account.
- March 2026 - May 2026: Follow up meetings
Follow up meetings will be held in school with some applicants, after their mock exams, to refine their subject choices.
New joiner applications
- October 2025 - March 2026: Application online
New students will complete the application form on our website with their subject choices. The online Application form will open on 3rd October 2025. Closing date for online applications is 1st April 2026.
- January 2026 - April 2026: In person meeting
Applicants will be invited to an in person meeting held at Harris Academy Falconwood to discuss their subject choices and predicted grades.
- January 2026 - June 2026: Conditional offers
Conditional offers will be made via email, students must accept to continue the process. We will inform you if we cannot make you an offer.
Taster Days
July 2026: Taster Days will take place after all GCSE exams. Offer holders will be invited to experience a day at our Sixth Form and try taster lessons. These days are by invitation only.
